The co-founder of Grooveshark, Josh Greenberg, passed away over the weekend. He was 28 years old. According to the Gainesville Police department Twitter account, Greenberg was found dead in his Gainsville, Florida home with no sign of foul play. The cause of death is still unknown and under investigation.

While Grooveshark was shut down only a few months ago following a legal battle with UMG, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group, Greenberg's mother told The Gainesville Sun that Josh was relieved to no longer have the case hanging over his head. “He was excited about potential new things that he was going to start."
