Future's DS2 album is on its way to the no. 1 spot on the charts, and he's celebrating this week with a series of free concerts to show his appreciation for his fans and their support. Future kicked off the series in Atlanta last night with an insane looking show that featured the crowd hanging onto every word that the hometown hero spit.

Of course, Future ran through the new album, but he also played some of his other hits, which included "March Madness," and as you can see from the video above, it sent the crowd into a different atmosphere. And for those saying it was only this crazy because it was his hometown, what do you say to the people who are currently lined up outside the venue in Chicago hours before the doors even open up?

here's the line in front of the venue for Future's free Chicago show tonight. this is unreal. it's not even 10am... pic.twitter.com/zv88zk7d7Q
