Is Ellie Goulding's album done? That's what the singer is alluding to in her recent Instagram post featuring her exiting London's famous Abbey Road Studios captioned "That's a wrap!" While there is hardly a movie soundtrack that exists without an Ellie track on it (from The Hunger Games to the Divergent series to 50 Shades of Grey), the forthcoming album will be the singer's first full-length follow-up to 2012's Halcyon. "Making my album has been hard and it has been terrifying for so many reasons. But also a tremendous journey," Ellie wrote on Instagram. "It is made up of not just some of the most talented people I know but the best people. I am so grateful to have them around me inspiring me and making me laugh like hell at the same time. Soon I will be able to share it with you x."
As we wait for the pop phenomenon's new album, you can check out Ellie featured in Major Lazer's new video for "Powerful" below and keep your ear to the ground as rumors swirl naming her the artist behind the theme for this fall's James Bond film Spectre.
