Drake spent many years honing his nuanced thespian skills on the set of Degrassi: Next Generation, but nothing could prepare him for the role he’s about to tackle.

According to a casting call that recently resurfaced on KanyeToThe via Facebook, Drake could be portraying a character named “Mayor Drake Ford” in a new music video for the If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late standout “Energy.” The ad calls for Rob Ford body doubles, who will (presumably) have Drake’s face superimposed onto their considerable frames. The scene is said to depict “ Mayor Drake Ford in a parking garage with a drug dealer.”

Let that sink in for a minute, because we’re not finished.

If this casting call is legit, the music video for “Energy” will feature two more vignettes: one with Drake in an awkward family portrait, and one one where Drakes' face will be superimposed onto the body of a fashion model. With all the thirst traps Drake is planting on Instagram lately, Fashion Model Drake in the “Energy” video could be the most deceiving thirst trap of all.

Even with all of these clues, t’s hard to imagine what this video is going to look like. It’s worth noting that the directors allegedly attached to the project (Fleur & Manu) have worked on clips for M83 and Skrillex, and the production company (Revolver Films) is the same team behind the “Started From The Bottom” video. The supposed shoot would have taken place in late April, so regardless, the deed is done.

Drake teased a clip for “Energy” on his Instagram earlier this week. We don’t get a glimpse of Mayor Drake Ford in the preview, but it certainly seems in line with the rest of the casting call. And lucky for us, Drizzy says it's coming soon.

What do you think? Will we be blessed enough to see Drake’s face superimposed onto OVO RoFo’s body? Just wait on it.
