There is a developing trend in music separating the artists who celebrate other artists versus those who don't. As EDM explodes onto the charts and into the festivals, it is constantly a target for others to criticize with the latest huff of criticism spewed by Noel Gallagher. The singer - who was headlining Scotland's T In The Park festival earlier this month - took a minute during his interviews to criticize his fellow festival headliner Avicii and other headlining DJs. "I don't know anything about Avicii. I don't wish to know anything about Avicii. It sounds like an artist from the Renaissance period. Don't worry, I can save [the festival] after that," Gallagher said of Avicii's set. In another interview, he exclaimed that festivals "disturbing, if a dude in a hat and a pair of fake DJ decks pressing play on a CD player is what it's all about. That's quite a bleak future."

Now the Swedish DJ is responding back on Instagram. Responding the best way anyone could - with a South Park clip - Avicii featured a video of a wailing Randy Marsh on guitar captioning the video "Sounds like youre playing the wrong festival if youre at the same time dissing its entire audiences music taste you silly sausage! :O." He continued "What is really 'sad' is hearing a old time musician like yourself confessing so bluntly and openly to not having an open mind to new music by dissing shit you haven't even heard." He then invited the famed Oasis musician to preview his album song by song and provide his honest feedback before signing the whole thing the "Dude in a hat."

Meanwhile, Deadmau5's response was a little more direct as he replied to Gallagher who had opened his interview with, "Hello, this is deadmau5 without the stupid fucking hat." His response: "Well I'm Noel Gallagher, without the stupid accent." Watch the video below.
