Vince Staples has been sharing favorite tracks and tweeting deep thoughts about his upcoming album Summertime ’06 throughout the month. On June 30, the Long Beach rapper is putting out his major label debut, but he’s gone ahead and let NPR get the first listen. The album features singles like "Señorita" and “Get Paid,” as well as production mostly done by No I.D., DJ Dahi and Clams Casino. “All I ask is that you listen with an open mind. Summertime '06 by Vince Staples,” he says. “If you like what you hear please support on June 30th. This is how I live and what I live for, thank you.”
