Nate Ruess is participating in that great rock band tradition and going solo. The lead singer of fun. ("Some Nights," "We Are Young") will drop his debut solo album, Grand Romantic, on June 16 via Fueled By Ramen. It features the hit single "Nothing Without Love," and other songs that live up to the mission statement that is the album's title. Complex NEWS correspondent Ally Love sat down with Ruess to talk about breaking the news to his bandmates that he wanted to fly solo, working on his new album, whether or not Adam Levine is good at golf, and lots more.
