After a successful string of concert streams (J. Cole, Jack White, Prince, Jay Z), Tidal is delivering once again with another big show. Hosted by Budweiser, The Monument Series at the Statue of Liberty will be a teaser for Made In America in September. They plan on bringing “iconic performances to iconic American locations,” and what better way than to kick off with Mary J. Blige on Liberty Island.
Tidal promises that MJB will be performing two decades worth of hits. “Real Love?” “Everything?” “Love Is All We Need?” So many. For fans who weren’t able to get a ticket for Liberty Island, Budweiser is bringing a sister concert on Governors Island featuring live performances from Big Gigantic, T-Pain and Misterwives, as well as project a 40-foot, 4D hologram of the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul that starts at 7 PM EST. Holograms are back.
