Kendrick Lamar Releases the Video For "Alright"

Kendrick Lamar delivered a stirring performance of "Alright" to kick off the BET Awards over the weekend, and now, the Compton MC has released the official, Colin Tilley​-directed video for the song that was featured on To Pimp a Butterfly. Kendrick filmed portions of the video all over California, with different scenes taking place in downtown Los Angeles, and in various areas in Oakland.

While filmed in black and white, Kendrick delivers on the strong message of the song with the stunning visuals that takes him around the state, whether hovering through the air, riding in the car with his crew, or mobbing with his fans in the streets. This is now the third video that Kendrick has released from his most recent album, following the visuals for "i" and "King Kunta." To Pimp a Butterfly can be purchased on iTunes here
