It's been seven long years, but Janet Jackson is finally releasing a new album this year, and it's coming in the fall. The album, which is currently untitled, will be released through Janet's newly launched Rhythm Nation record label that will be distributed by BMG. Along with her own album, Janet teased that the label will be partnering with both new and established artists to release music in the future.
This will be the the eleventh studio album of Janet's career, and her first since 2008 when she released Discipline through Island Records. Along with the new album, Janet previously announced that she will be going out on a world tour to support the project, though she hasn't released further details on that as of now.
