LA's Danny Choi—Ghost Loft—has long made his sonic imprint through his own work along with remixes of The Neighbourhood, Ryn Weaver, Little Daylight and Janine And the Mixtape. Today, he officially releases his latest work in full form with The Chocolate Haze EP. Featuring previously released tracks "Overflow," and "The Otherside," the EP also includes new tracks "The Rolling Man" and "Phonograph." "The Rolling Man" sees Ghost Loft stepping out of the shadows and into the light as lofty ethereals and licks of psychedelic chords greet you into a Blur-ry psychedelic reverb. The track is made all the more special by the accompanying visualizer that melds the song's psychedelics and deep grooves into a kaleidescope of vintage revelry lust fated to help you fade sublimely into the night. "Phonograph" follows suit as he trades the ominous melodrama of his previous releases for a choral of angelic hopeful harmonies that seamlessly sweep you off your feet to elevate you through the hazy cycle of young love with no intention of coming down. You'll be high on this one for a while.
