Premiere: Listen to chief waKiL's "B.A.M. (By Any Means)"

He's planning on dropping a new album later this year.

Los Angeles via Kansas City artist chief waKiL has spent the better half of the last few years working on songwriting for 50 Cent's Power, FOX's Empire, ABC's How To Get Away With Murder as well as 22 Jump Street, and Horrible Bosses II,  among others. He's also spent a lot of time working under Grammy winning producer Brian Kennedy (Rihanna, Big Sean, Frank Ocean, etc.) and made waves on Vine, too. 

These days, he's putting in work as a solo artist and plans to release a new album due out sometime later this year. Today, he premieres "B.A.M. (By Any Means)," a song he says is about taking what's yours, no matter what it takes. "It’s the modern day Ode to Robin Hood," he told Complex. You can stream his new track below:
