Chance The Rapper Is Curating A Free Festival For Chicago Teens

Chance the Rapper is the musical curator for the first-ever Teens in the Park festival in Chicago.

Chance the Rapper is truly a man of the people. Fresh off releasing a free album alongside Donnie Trumpet as a part of The Social Experiment, Chance is curating the musical performances for the first-ever Teens in the Park festival planned for June 24th in Chicago, a free event for youngsters between the ages of 13 and 24 as well as their accompanying chaperones. 

The festival, which is sponsored by the City of Chicago, will span just a few hours and will take place at Northerly Island. Teens in the Park will feature performances from Donnie Trumpet as well as up-and-coming local bopper DLow and the festival will be accompanied by activity tents hosted by the likes of The Art Institute and Donda's House. The tents will offer outreach in the form of graffiti, breakdancing, jewelry making, and fashion design, according to The Fader
