When you’re in line at airport security efficiency and simplicity are what separate the men from the boys (along with always wearing clean socks). Brendan Fallis has it down to a science. He flies around the world to DJ parties, events, openings and music festivals. As a result, the New Yorker knows what it takes to live out of a suitcase and still look fresh when he steps foot on stage. Music festivals in particular come with their own set of specifics. It’s all about pieces that work together, stay in line with your personal style, and maximize comfort and breathability for long, hot days on your feet. When Fallis heads to Bonnaroo this weekend, his bag will be packed with plain tees in all the basic colors--white, grey, and black; a pair of jeans; a great pair of sunglasses, a few pairs of comfortable shoes like Tevas, a hoodie, and, of course, a GoPro. The combo keep his feet cool, separates him from the all-too-colorful masses, and lets him capture the standout acts on the lineup like Gary Clark Jr., Flume and Billy Joel himself.
