French Fries' Mix For Electronic Beats Radio

We'll start off with something a little more subdued to ease you into your ravey weekend. This one from French Fries is a pretty laid back affair, but it's super varied. There's deep house, minimal as well as Afro house and more international sounds (Mr. Raoul K's "Break Your Chain And Return To Botswana" is definitely one of the mix's finest moments) that, combined, make for an incredibly engrossing listen and the ideal soundtrack for a hot, sticky summer afternoon.

Alex Banks' 'June 2015' Mix

It may be hellishly warm outside, but what if shorts and hot weather aren't your thing? That's OK because this deep, moody and atmospheric mix from Alex Banks will definitely help you forget about the sunshine. Close all the windows, crank the air conditioning up to full and pretend we're deep in the harsh winter months.

Prince Rapid vs. Logan Sama Mix For Clash

You're always in safe hands when Logan's on deck. Couple that with Ruff Sqwad's Prince Rapid and you're in for 50 minutes that explore the length and breadth of grime, further underlining the genre's fluidity and refusal to be defined or restricted. Expect some classic Rapid productions (and a few bars too) alongside grimy classics and unknown gems.

Jabru's Mix For Hyponik

Jabru's latest mix for Hyponik is perfectly suited to a blisteringly-hot summer party... We're predicting some BIG things from this guy, this year.

Charlie Sloth's 'Summer Tun Up' Mix

If you don't know 1Xtra's Charlie Sloth, then you've got some serious homework to do. A hugely important figure when it comes to shining a light on new talent, as well as getting the big players in for his Fire In The Booth sessions, Sloth's radio show has become infamous and this mix proves why. The London-based DJ may be primarily known for playing host to UK talent, but his knowledge of the US is equally formidable; blending Southern rap with British sounds and R&B, his Summer Tun Up mix features Giggs, Fetty Wap, and Wiz Khalifa for the most summery of summer vibes. Tun up!

Derrick Carter's Mix For Boiler Room

Making a return to Chicago following their 2013 exploration of footwork, Boiler Room drafted in Chicago house legend Derrick Carter to pay tribute to another iconic figure in the house arena: Frankie Knuckles. This mix is also a lesson in the city's history, and the role it played in the birth of house music as we know it.

Lakim's 'GoldLink East Coast Tour' Mix

Ahead of GoldLink's East Coast tour, Soulection's Lakim has put together a taster mix to give you an idea of what's in store for anyone lucky enough to catch any of the dates.

DJ Shadow & G. Jones' Mix For Nest HQ

DJ Shadow & G. Jones, aka Night School Klik, make their mixing debut with this stunning, high energy mix of hip-hop, bass, trap, R&B and plenty of weird, beautiful, out-there sounds. The partnership originally surfaced on Shadow's Liquid Amber label but this is their first proper outing. The story goes that the pair met when Shadow dropped a G. Jones track in the club while the latter was in the crowd. They then hit it off backstage and forged the Klik. It makes a lot of sense with Shadow being a hardened West Coast beat veteran figuratively passing the torch to Jones, an up-and-comer in the same scene.

Catz N Dogz Mix For THUMP

Playful house duo, Catz N Dogz, originally hailing from Poland, have become firm favourites on both sides of the pond with their hugely affable personalties and intense focus on honing their craft. They may pull silly faces in their press shots and have an obscene amount of fun on-stage but no one can deny their technical prowess nor their skills as selectors, especially after this mix.

Nightwave's Mix For Truants

Maya Medvesek, bka Nightwave, has been tearing up clubs all over the world. Besides DJing and producing, she also runs the Glasgow-based label, Heka Trax, which released her well-received Luxor and Nightlife EPs. In between doing all of that and preparing for her North American tour, somehow, Nightwave has managed to find time to put this new mix together, featuring house, techno, global club music, grime, hip-hop, and footwork. That may sound a bit chaotic, but there's a guiding hand behind it all and you just know a huge amount of thought has gone into it.
