During a recent interview with NDO Radio, Young Thug cleared up some confusion about his label and management situation and revealed that he's going to drop a mixtape before his debut album, Hy!£UN35, arrives in August. No word on when Thugga plans to drop the tape, but he did say that he wants to call the project Carter V because Lil Wayne hasn't dropped it yet and he has no idea what they're doing.

Of course, Weezy is currently in an intense legal battle with Birdman to get out of his Cash Money deal over owed money and not putting out Tha Carter V. Thug's last project, Barter 6, was originally intended to be called Carter 6 before legal action was threatened against him and they were forced to change it. On the subject of Birdman, who Thug has become very close with over time, he said that he's currently not managed by Rich Gang or Baby and that his only deal right now is with Atlantic Records and 300. Previously, Rich Homie Quan had publicly distanced himself from all Rich Gang activities to focus on his own solo career, and now it seems like Thug might be following suit.

Thugga also talked about his recent "Rodeo Tour" with Travi$ Scott and how their relationship has evolved from the time Travis first heard a leaked song of Thug's and played it for Kanye West. "They sent me a jet to come to LA, and that's how I met him [Travis], and we met at Kanye's house and it went from there," Thug said.
