It's been a big year for Vic Mensa, and it's only May. The Chicago native and Save Money affiliate recently signed to Roc Nation Records and has been in the studio finishing up his debut album, Traffic, set to drop sometime this year. In the last few months, he's landed a feature on Kanye West's "Wolves," alongside Sia, and dropped his own single, "U Mad," also featuring Ye.

Mensa made waves with his INNANETAPE mixtape back in 2013, which featured standout appearances from Chance the RapperAb-SoulJesse Boykins III, and Thundercat, among others. But from the sounds of his new music, Mensa is changing up his entire style. We recently caught up with him in New York to talk to him about the making of his new album, working with Kanye, that questionable "Ray Rice" lyric, and where the fuck the CDQ of "Wolves" is. Get to know Mensa in our extensive profile on him here and watch our latest interview above.
