Jay Z is performing his second B-sides show tonight in NYC, which also happens to be the same day that the hip-hop community learned of Coke Boys rapper Chinx’s death.

The unfortunate news sparked a lot of people who were close to him to share their memories of the Queens rapper such as Lil Durk, Rob Kardashian and French Montana. Hov decided to give his thoughts on the matter during a brief intermission of his show. “A young man got killed in Queens, his name was Chinx,” he said. “I can’t understand that we are seriously under attack like never before, like never before. Rest in peace to Chinx.”

Although police still don’t have any leads on a suspect, he stressed that we should hold ourselves to a higher regard instead of killing each other. “We need to understand that we are kings and queens. We are kings and queens and we’re under attack. A young man trying make a way out of the hood.”

Chinx was gunned down in Queens Sunday night in a drive-by shooting while he was in his own vehicle. Watch Jay's full speech above.
