Much like The Knux a few weeks ago, J*Davey is returning to a music scene more conducive to its eclectic, genre-bending sound. The Los Angeles duo began blending electronic music with R&B, pop, and hip-hop a decade ago, but that combination has never been more welcomed than it is now with the likes of FKA Twigs and AlunaGeorge.
POMP, J*Davey's first project after a three-year hiatus, seeks to capitalize on the industry's growing open mindedness. The eight-song EP is simultaneously indulgent and introspective, packing disparate emotions from Jack Davey on consistently lively production from Brook D'Leau.
