We premiered Toronto R&B enigma Brendan Philip’s new single last week, and he’s just followed it up with a mysteriously elegant visual.
The video for “Shadow Ceremony” paints Philip in splashes of red and blue light, as he delivers the song’s ethereal verses directly into the camera. A strobe-like effect washes over Philip, as a woman’s hand invades the frame and explores his body. It’s a fitting video companion to Brendan’s strangely seductive sonic yield.
