New York-based Norwegian singer/songwriter OKAY KAYA has been slowly putting out captivating videos for her equally dreamy, melancholic songs, including "Clouds," "Damn, Gravity," and now, "Clenched Teeth." Directed by Ricky Saiz, who's known for designing for Supreme and directing Beyoncé's "Yonce" and Cam'ron & A-Trak's "Dipsh*ts" videos, "Clenched Teeth" follows Kaya through Tokyo's lit-up Shibuya district (OFF-WHITE designer/Kanye West collaborator, Virgil Ablohdid the title card design). In an interview with Dazed, Kaya reveals that they shot it all in one take around New Year's Eve, and that the song is about "laying next to someone and drifting off into a lucid dream where they’re finally able to confess everything to you through clenched teeth."

Kaya is fresh off of touring with Tobias Jesso, Jr., and is wasting no time getting her excellent music and videos out there. Watch "Clenched Teeth" above and look out for more OKAY KAYA in the near future.
