Some of hip-hop and music's biggest stars have spoken out about the riots in Baltimore that began in response to the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, whose funeral was yesterday. Gray died on April 13 from perplexing spinal injuries while in police custody the night before. As the protests around the city of Baltimore unfolded last night, Rihanna, Vic Mensa, Freddie Gibbs, Chuck D, Bun B, and more all weighed in on what they were seeing and sent their thoughts and prayers to those involved to stay safe.

Damn. Baltimore is getting outta control. I understand protests. I don't understand looting CVS. That's not honoring Freddie Grey.

Baltimore I respect it, 100%. Just do it peacefully, we don't need an excuse for them to kill another one of us. #FreddyGray
