Erick Sermon says hip-hop and the culture isn't ready for a "Bruce Jenner situation" in a bizarre new interview with TMZ. It's unclear why we're asking Sermon about his thoughts on Jenner in 2015—or what he's actually talking about—but Sermon says that the hip-hop culture isn't ready to be pushed forward to that level, though he said some rappers are "close to that" right now. Close to what exactly? He didn't specify. Sermon questioned the timing of Jenner's announcement to transition to a woman, but praised him for bringing awareness to suicide in the transgender community. This whole interview is weird but you can watch it above.
