Last month, Night Slugs boss Bok Bok released his latest single, "Papaya Lipgloss", and now we have official visuals on our hands. Directed by Nic Hamilton, the video is an ultra-futuristic, slightly sinister look into what appears to be—in equal measures—a laboratory, a futuristic garden, and a recording studio. Meanwhile, the track—which sees Bok Bok teaming up with composer/keyboardist, Sweyn Jupiter—is all velvety club music, with subtle trap and ghetto house inflections. There's also a vague aesthetic nod to instrumental grime, though, as ever, it avoids the usual metallic synths in favour of softer, more subtle sounds. "Papaya Lipgloss" is out now on Night Slugs as a double A-side, available both digitally and on 12" vinyl.
