Tokyo producer Broken Haze, or Keisuke Ito to his mum, has just turned in an ear-blistering remix of Aussie duo Olympic Ayres' latest single, "Control". The original, a sun-kissed piece of laid back indie electro, has been chopped, screwed and mutilated into something even the PC Music crew might find a bit much. The tempo's cranked right up and much of the track is unrecognisable, switching the tone from an upbeat warm-up to a peak-time banger. It's almost a completely new track, but there's nothing worse than a remix that may as well be a radio or VIP edit, and it gives you an excuse to play both versions in the same set without making the crowd hate you. The original version of "Control" is taken from Olympic Ayres' debut EP, Leisureplex—stream and download the Broken Haze remix below.
