Houston's very own Maxo Kream met Father down at Fools Gold Day Off in Miami and since he, too, knows about "phones and Instagram bitches," the two teamed up for "Cell Boomin." On the Wxlf Gxd-produced track, Maxo raps about the perils of trapping from your phone—you know, making sure your location is off, occasionally using airplane mode when your phone's blowing up, and Facetiming with the plug while your phone's on three percent. Meanwhile, Awful Records' Mr. Flip Phone Nokia throws a verse on because he knows a thing or two about trapping from a Motorola.
"The ups of trappin' on the phone is that people don't knock on your door, the downs is that they blow your phone up when you're out," Maxo told Complex.
"Cell Boomin" is the latest single from Maxo Kream's #MAXO187 mixtape, which drops Mar. 5th and also includes features from Joey Bada$$, the Sauce Twinz, and Fredo Santana.
