Early this morning, the one true Prince of the 6ix dropped a 15-minute short film, featuring plenty of Toronto landmarks, solemn introspection, and snippets from two new songs.
It’s rumoured that Drake could drop new music today, but until he blesses us with full versions, we’ll have to make do with these snippets.
The titles are unconfirmed, but “Runnin’ Thru The 6ix” appears in Jungle at the 6:00 minute mark exactly, and sounds like the brooding anthem we’ve all been waiting for. “Rock Me” appears in the film’s credits sequence, and showcases Drake’s melodic side, over twinkling pianos and a beat that slaps hard.
