Festival season may be some way off, but festival announcement season is well under way. The latest to announce a wave of acts is UK festival institution Reading & Leeds who have just confirmed a staggering line-up that includes (but is by no means limited to) Boy Better Know, Stormzy, Hudson Mohawke, Tyler The Creator, Kendrick Lamar, Run The Jewels, Jamie XX, Azealia Banks and Lethal Bizzle. Boy Better Know, Hudson Mohawke, My Nu Leng, Brodinski and Tourist, among others, will take the BBC Radio 1 dance stage, while A$AP Ferg, Krept & Konan, Craze, Lethal Bizzle, Stormzy, Oneman and more will take the BBC 1Xtra stage in what is nothing more than a resounding triumph for UK MCs, DJs and producers.

Meanwhile, Jamie XX, Gorgon City and Tyler will take to the NME/BBC Radio 1 stage alongside an eclectic range of artists including Limp Bizkit, Everything Everything and Slaves. Regular Leeds and Reading attendees can rest assured this vast slew of UK and US grime, rap and dance stars will still be joined by the usual contingent of indie, hard rock and metal acts like Mastodon, Django Django and festival headliners The Libertines and Metallica. The Reading & Leeds festivals will take place between August 28 and August 30, at Bramham Park and Little John's Farm respectively.
