Chance The Rapper and The Social Experiment (friends Donnie Trumpet, Peter Cottontale and Nate Fox) release a new track to set the mood this Valentine’s Day.
On “Lady Friend,” the 21-year-old MC croons about having a special someone who he sees as his confidant: “You know they ask about you, ‘What’s up with your lady?’/I tell them you’re just gorgeous." Backed by a jazz saxophone and piano chords, Chance’s lyrics provide a sweet message for whoever he’s been digging lately.
