Shy Girls, the R&B project of Portland artist Dan Vidmar, plans to drop his 4WZ mixtape "any day now" and with features from Rome Fortune, Tei Shi, Junglepussy and more, it sounds like it's shaping up to be an emotional, shimmering project. After dropping "Right, Alright" yesterday, Shy Girls is back with "Xhampagne" featuring San Jose rapper Antwon.
At first listen, "Xhampagne" has some Weeknd-vibes but you'll quickly hear a shift in sounds, carving a separate lane out for Shy Girls' uncanny ability to craft a more ethereal, alternative sound and with a verse from Antwon, "Xhampagne" may be the standout track on 4WZ.
