Yesterday, Atlanta trio Migos posted a picture on Instagram of them and some Quality Control labelmates donating $1,000 to a local Atlanta high school—complete with an oversized check and all. Once news of this donation hit Twitter, all hell broke loose and dozens of people complained that $1k wasn't enough money based off Migos' luxury raps and lifestyle. Another faction of Twitter came to the group's defense, and backed them up for donating any money at all, while driving home the age-old motto, "It's the thought that counts."
The group defended themselves on Twitter with the message, "Shmigo money never stop," though that didn't slow down the Twitter backlash one bit.
1.) It's not the Migos its the label 2.) Its the 1st stop on a citywide school tour 3.)If you can't match a donation then stfu @cthagod
