UPDATE 2/9/15: Comedy Central just announced that Kevin Hart will be handling the Roastmaster duties for the event, which will air on March 30.
It's finally happening: Justin Bieber is getting his very own Comedy Central Roast in 2015. “Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We’re thrilled he listened,” said Kent Alterman, president of programming for Comedy Central, who announced the news this morning.
Justin definitely listened to the request for more material and the last year or so of his life will generate a fair share of roasting material alone. He took to Twitter to celebrate the news and said he's worked hard over the past year to get ready. The network has yet to announce when the program will air, or who the roasters will be, but we have to assume that with all the shit that Bieber gets on a daily basis, this may be the best roast yet.
