When Meek Mill showed up on not one but two tracks on The Pinkprint (and pretty sexy ones, at that—lovelorn ballad "Buy A Heart" and flirty trap number "Big Daddy"), it sparked fan-fictiony hopes of a romantic connection between newly freed Meek and newly single Nicki. And while the two remain tight-lipped about the romance rumors ("We're friends. We're friends. He's dope," she said in December on Power 106, also mentioning that Meek was originally planning to guest on album cut "Favorite" but wasn't released in time), Nicki's been dropping coy hints on social media that the two have been hanging out lately. Earlier this week, she teased a selfie of the two with the caption, "Guess what video we're shooting 😳," then quickly followed it up with "J/K no video 😜😘."
Last night, Rick Ross' girlfriend Ming Lee posted a group photo that included Rozay, Wale, Meek, and Nicki. The latter two looked pretty cozy.
For now, it remains to be seen what the two's status is. (But you never know, it may not hurt to start workshopping their 'ship name: Omeeka has a pretty cute ring to it...) For now, let's be happy that Nicki seems happy.
