To celebrate the announcement that Ghostpoet will be releasing his third album in March, the spoken-word-leaning MC has just shared the first single, "Off Peak Dreams". The new album, Shedding Skin, promises much of what we've come to love from Ghostpoet, in terms of his distinctive delivery and subdued melodies. In true Ghostpoet style, this track sees him teaming up with a full live band, giving the track a rich, full-bodied sound that could not be synthesized. Despite it being immediately identifiable as a Ghostpoet track, there's something noticeably more upbeat about the jazzy flourishes and the club-friendly groove of the bass—even the vocals sound less morose than usual.
