Just when you think you might have a handle on a scene or a sound, you get a curveball that reminds you that you can never know too much or have too many good records. Canadian label Heretic has done a great job making those and their newest with Montreal's Wolf is no different. Wolf's Drifting Away EP is four tracks of bass-soaked and twisted riddims of house and broken beats firing off in every which direction. Beaka is an artist we've yet to feature on DAD, but comes through today with this wonky VIP of his remix of "No Love." He has had his work featured on BBC Radio 1; hopefully this is only a taste of what he is going to be dropping in the next few months. It's not without order, though... the order being pure dancefloor destruction. This isn't some easy bottle club fair shit; this is is for the real punters who know how to get down.
