DJ Mustard has been having a stellar year, with multiple hit songs on the charts and his own album as well. However, there is one person close to him that claims that he has been wrongfully taking credit for his chart topping club anthems. TMZ is reporting that Mustard's childhood friend and collaborator Mike Free is suing him over unpaid royalties that he feels he is owed.

In the suit, Free claims that he and Mustard made a deal to share producer and songwriter credits on some of Mustard's biggest hits such as Tyga's "Rack City," Big Sean's "IDFWU," and more. Claiming to be the creative mind behind those hits, Free says that Mustard used his connections to get the beats to some of the biggest artists in music. He essentially wants his credit on the songs, but more importantly he wants to be paid what he feels he is due. Mustard has yet to respond to these allegations, but this is certainly a huge black eye on an otherwise stellar year for the young producer.
