Truth be told, before Porter Robinson's "Lionhearted," I had no idea who Urban Cone was. I definitely didn't know that Urban Cone was a Swedish quintet, or that they were signed to Astralwerks. They full-length LP is set to drop in 2015, and they already dropped the first single, "Sadness Disease," which tackles the theme of achieving the super high standards of beauty in today's society. What I love is how a song with serious overtones can still be given a bright coat of paint, which is what Two Friends did. Their take on "Sadness Disease" is a turbo-charged, high octane trek through life to. Truth be told, we need to focus on inner beauty and striving for our goals, not trying to look or act a certain way. Hopefully tracks like this can help those stuck in a rut to overcome that and keep pushing.
