North West London's Grand Wa Zoo have just put the finishing touches to the video for their latest single "One Time". The trio, Jay, Ryo and Lil, are undeniably fans of US hip-hop, but it's the UK element they bring in which separates them from the crowd.
The video, like the track it accompanies, is modestly uplifting. The warm bass licks, melodic chords and soulful chorus are matched by sun-kissed images of nice people enjoying the sun. On the other hand, this is married up with images of some of the more run-down parts of town, as well as a couple arguing to mirror the bitter-sweet minor chords that pepper the track.
"One Time" is the second single to be taken from Grand Wa Zoo's upcoming mixtape, Lost For Days. Exclusively, you can watch the video for it above.
