Mary J. Blige is steadily working towards the release of her new album, The London Sessions, and decides to release yet another track from the project with "When You're Gone." Mary shows what really makes her a legend on this song, stripping most of the production down to only feature a string-heavy melody that matches wonderfully with her truly stunning voice, while she sings about the returning pain of being seperated from a loved one.
This release is already the third drop we have heard from the project, with the Disclosure-produced track "Right Now," and the Sam Smith-assisted "Nobody But You" being the others. The album, which you can currently pre-order on iTunes now, is set to include feature appearances from Disclosure, Sam Smith, Emeli Sandé, and more. Stream the song above.
