Throwing up something of a floor shaker this week is none other than Excision, who brings a double threat courtesy of a collaboration with The Frim. With the former being hands down one of the greatest dubstep forces on the scene and the latter beginning to cause quite a stir (please see his last release on Never Say Die for confirmation), this partnership is pretty damn explosive. "Night Shine" has just landed itself on Rottun Records–a myriad of sounds, this one is not just your typical filth. This one starts off in haunting fashion, using simple chord sequences to gather suspense before Luciana's enticing vocals are thrown into the mix. Sure enough, the drop provides plenty of stuttering bass, but it does so in refined style.
