Mysterious New York producer Lucian has just posted this weird and wonderful remix of "TRNDSTTR" by Brooklyn trio Black Coast, taking it into trappy, glitched-out territory. M.Maggie's vocals on the original are respectfully treated, working in tandem with the bombastic, dramatic bursts of energy. It's a little bit different and there's plenty of twists and turns here, making it perfect for mid-set breakdowns to keep a crowd on their toes.
The enigmatic New Yorker had this to say:
Although the original track is incredible in its own rite, I really wanted to bring the listener through a cinematic series of scenes in which each development found you guessing what was around the corner. It really is all about the storytelling in art, and the instrumentation and production play a huge role in this today more than ever.
