A$AP Ferg has been quietly working hard on new solo music for a majority of the year, and we finally get a taste, as he releases his new track, "This Side," featuring YG. This song is the first drop from Ferg's upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape, which he announced during an episode of Fashion Bros. back in October. This collaboration between Ferg and YG is very fitting, seeing that they will be embarking on a joint tour together later this month that will run through January.
As for this drop, Ferg and YG slow it down over the menacing production from The Fam, each spitting about growing up in their respective hoods, sharing personal stories about smoking weed for the first time and learning the ropes of gang life.
