The Obamas might be the coolest presidential couple ever. Or they are at least the most connected to the EDM scene. Or they just know how to comment on shit that's pertinent. I don't know. They wrote a letter about Frankie Knuckles' passing, primarily because there's no way to avoid Knuckles impact on Chicago (which is where Michelle is from, and Barack was an Illinois senator). What's crazy is that the same day we run down the best "Turn Down For What" parodies, this popular Barack Obama impersonator asked Michelle the following question:

While that doesn't really answer the calorie content question, it definitely shows that Michelle might need to turn up at an EDM event. Or at least have a proper round of DJs spinning on the White House lawn. Invite DJ Snake and Lil Jon, let them turn this into a proper infomercial for the power of turnips. Maybe there can be a totally new brand of CRUNK juice featuring a turnip flavor. This doesn't have top end.
