Sometimes knowing how to internet is half the battle towards achieving visibility with your music–the other half is standing apart from the pack, and from the first time we heard of King Froopy, it's clear he's known how to win both sides of the fight from the jump. Giving us the exclusive jump on his Fall EP, Froopy again flexes his know-how with the happiest electronic tunes that simultaneously spit right in the face of EDM convention, sampling from and combining styles to create four distinct tracks with entirely different feelings, all connected by a continually-maturing sound establishing itself as signature to Froopy. He teased the EP with "Make Me" back in August, and while that remains the stand-out track, tunes like the eponymous "Fall" shed light on an atmospheric side to King Froopy's inclinations, while the simplicity of "Hope Springs Eternal" sounds like the most satisfying video game ending you've never played.
