Diplo calls him “inspirational, influential, and downright scary to some of us producers” and a “crazy lunatic in the beat game,” and we’re not disagreeing. Of course, the “straight out of Glasgow” producer is none other then Hudson Mohawke. Just today alone has been a big day for HudMo as his Chynna collaboration surfaced, he just released his long-awaited Chimes EP this week, and to help get that promo’d, HudMo hooked up with Diplo to put together a crazy hour mix for Diplo & Friends’ hip-hop month. The mix features smashes from many of the rap game’s uniquest talents including ILoveMakonnen, Madlib, Action Bronson, old school jams like Clipse, and of course some unreleased jams like TNGHT’s remix of Kanye’s “Cold” and the beautiful Cashmere Cat edit of HudMo’s own “Forever 1." There are many worse ways you could spend your next hour, but I assure you, this is no waste of time. Get into this now and don’t waste a second.
