It really doesn’t seem to matter, but within the styles (confines?) of electronic music, the French always have the goods. L'homme aux 4 lettres, 1/4 of Point Point, hooked up with Mad Decent and their free release label Jeffrees to unload a new three minute heater that threads/and or references trap, classic house vibes, jersey club (or at least the club genre), and heavy 808s. "Bounce Beaucoup” follows LH4L’s last release with his Point Point compatriot Nömak and their smashing “Horsequake” and earlier beauts from this year like “Kimono,” “Erogene,” and of course Filet Mignon II; the Point Point curated mixtape from this past summer. Now if you’re not hip to LH4L, “Bounce Beaucoup” is the time to get hip because the hype flight is going to take off any day now.
