"It is with huge sadness and very heavy hearts that Phoenix Music International announce that our Head of Publishing Felix Hines has passed away... Felix joined Phoenix in 2012 after 17 successful years in the publishing world, 7 of them as MD of renowned London publisher Westbury Music. His extraordinary A&R talent was responsible for the signings of Riva Starr, Theo Parrish and Ragga Twins amongst others and took us to the lofty heights of the UK and US charts. His latest signings, GoGo Penquin are shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, an achievement he was rightfully so proud of… He leaves a wife and devastated family, friends and colleagues.”

Felix was 41.
