If thinking that seeing Skrillex and Diplo (as Jack U) at Madison Square Garden was the only way to spend New Year's Eve in the Big Apple, well, the announcement of Disclosure headlining New York City's Pier 94 with Dirtybird chief Claude VonStroke and UK duo Dusky (among others) in support certainly adds to the entertainment options on December 31st. Of course, given that Disclosure is headlining in New York City, this only opens up the opportunity for live performances by New York-born R&B legend Mary J. Blige to possibly perform material with the duo that will be on her forthcoming London Sessions album. Of course the heavy-handed dose of heavy house that one would be receiving before the main event from Dusky and Vonstroke as well makes this a must-attend event. Tickets go on sale at 12PM EST on October 10, 2014.
