Sometimes I forget how much I loved Zinc's progression from one of the most consistent jungle producers out to delving into the bass music scene back in the early 2000s. His Faster showcased just how much he "got" other sounds, and set him on a path that included his self-described "crack house" sound, among other beats. He's been steadily releasing material over the last few years, and while I'm not sure what the future holds (hopefully another album-length project), I'm glad to hear that this throwback tune "If You," which takes things back to the rave while maintaining that house bounce, is the kind of anthemic number that we can expect from his next EP, which he says is dropping on Bingo Bass in October. Consider yourselves warned.
