We recently caught up with the leading lady of TDE, SZA. Having impressed her fans and caught the attention of those new to her sound with the release of Z, she’s been having quite the year. We caught up with her at this year’s Trillectro Music Festival in Washington, D.C. where she spoke on her affinity for DC's culture—she's a Go-Go fan y'all.

SZA touched on her recent collaboration with Willow Smith"Domino" "Cuban Pete" and what it's like to work with one of young Hollywood's more recognizable names. She also opened up about her upcoming album A, which will complete the naming trend of her prior releases. She's working with a crew of killer producers like Hit-Boy, James Fauntleroy and more. Unfortunately, when asked about labelmate Kendrick Lamar's forthcoming album, SZA remained tightlipped, but did share that it's, "vivid as fuck."
